How does a person learn self-defense?
The answer to this question is not simple. The first thing that a person should do is to learn the basics. You cannot rely on your instincts and the first thing you should do in a real situation is to run and hide. If you are running, hide in a closet or under a bed. It is not just the police that are looking for you. There are other, much more dangerous enemies that can find you easily. A person should know how to use his or her body to defend themselves. A person should learn how to use their fists, how to defend themselves with a weapon, and how to shoot a gun.
The second thing is that a person should have a plan in case of an attack. There is no point in running if you are going to just stumble and make a noise. You need to be prepared and have a plan. If you are prepared, you will not be afraid and you will not be afraid to die. If you are not prepared, you will be killed or hurt. It is not just the death that you are afraid of. It is the pain and the suffering that you are afraid of.
